A series of concerts now essential in Barcelona! Every Sunday this August there is nothing better to end the weekend than an afternoon with live rumba in Poble! You will listen to and dance to all the songs live from the top rumba groups in Barcelona. But Fritanga! It is more than that... A complete experience in a space in an impressive natural environment where both children and adults can enjoy Sunday afternoons in August. Rumba, party, tinto de Verano, mojitos and typical Spanish tapas (including fritanga!), all in one!
They are childhood friends, compadres and brothers. Their rumba has taken place at engagement celebrations and gypsy weddings, conventions and concerts. They are the heritage of Peret, the king of rumba, and also of great names such as Pescaílla, Chipén or Estrellas de Gràcia, to name a few.
His project avoids mixing rumba with other styles; They present us with a pure and authentic Catalan rumba, with the “fan” as the haystack of the compositions. They have jamboree of their own songs and versions of Catalan rumba classics in which a dancer may even appear.
